Quilt Market Report, Fall 2010

I recently had the pleasure of attending the International Quilt Market in Houston.  Quilt Market is where all the fabric designers, manufacturers, pattern designers, etc. debut their new products for the upcoming months.  It is exciting to see all the new stuff all in one place.  But it was way more work than I thought it would be.  And a little disappointing because I wanted to buy everything I saw but there is that pesky budget that kept shaking its finger at me and saying "no no no".

So instead of buying everything I took pictures of lots of things and until th new fabrics and patterns get here I can share the pictures with you all.  Just know that I am not a professional photographer so some pictures are great and others just downright stink.  I know you will get over it with the little give away at the end.

First up is Tina Given's display. She has a new book coming out that looks pretty cute.  It is called Sew Tina and there are tons of really cute projects in it.

And then we have the Tula Pink booth.  Her new line is called Parisville and it is very pretty.  The colors are very striking.  I am getting some of this line for the store.  Her booth made you want to just sit down and really take everything in.

I believe Parisville will be shipping in December so we will have some time next month. Of course I'll keep you all updated on its arrival.

I got lots of fat quarters and samples to giveaway so everyone can share in a the excitement of quilt market.  So for today's giveaway I am giving away a some fat quarters from the Sweet Broderie line by Rosalie Quinlin.

There are two ways to enter today's giveaway.  You can either become a fan on our Facebook page.  Then come back here and leave a comment telling me you are a fan of the page.  Or you can leave a comment here and tell me what you might make with these cute little fabrics  If you do both, I'll enter you in the drawing twice! :)

P.S.  I'll do the drawing for the fabrics on Friday and then watch for Monday's post with another giveaway.

Comments are closed.  This giveaway is over.  Thanks to those who participated!

  1. I have been thinking about making a "quilt top table cloth" for my kitchen table. The blue, purple, and green Parisville collection would be a great match in that room.
